National Treasure Mustang Rescue and Sanctuary

We rescue, rehabilitate and provide sanctuary for at risk mustangs and burros which have been removed from our public lands by the Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service. These once wild equine would otherwise be held in holding for their lifetime and possibly shipped to slaughter in foreign countries. Some are adopted, but many adopters sell them to kill pens do to inability to train or costs of care. We provide the food, training, vet and farrier care, supplements, acreage to run and graze, love and compassion to each valued member of the herd. We provide education about the history of these national icons of freedom, their plight, training and gentling and advocacy for change.
