John 10:27 — “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” Let that verse really sink in. Jesus isn’t talking about some distant, far-off relationship. He’s talking about us, His sheep, His people, the ones He knows personally. He knows our voices when we pray, and we get to know His voice when He speaks. That’s such an incredible gift! The God of the universe actually speaks to us—and not only that, but He wants us to hear Him and follow Him. He’s not making it complicated or impossible. He’s a good Shepherd who loves to guide His sheep. So today, let’s take a minute to thank God for that — for being a God who listens when we talk, and who speaks to us when we quiet down long enough to listen.
