It's TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! What's makes Booker T. so special? Without doubt it is the amazing teachers who work with our students each day. They are caring when egotism runs rampant; creative when it is easy to just do the same old thing; sensitive when it is expedient to be expedient; untiring when realizing that students depend on their expertise; tenacious when faced with policies counter to students' best interests; determined to be fair and equitable; and ready to laugh as well as cry with their students.
