Sometimes real superheroes live in the hearts of little children fighting big battles” This event is for medically fragile children and their families and includes many fun and inclusive activities from cape making to visiting with the sweet Mini Joys horses. Eagle Public Library brings some of their sensory and adaptive toys for families to see what resources they offer. The Norco Medical teams shine up wheelchairs at the hot rod wash and provided needed adjustments for equipment. Icing Smiles, hosts a sweet cupcake display for all to enjoy. We also are joined by Ronald McDonald House who shared information about our recent collaboration, allowing our local families daytime use of the house for rest, meals and more. Idaho Parents Unlimited shares their programs and fun activities. For a truly heroic experience, Boise Police Department rolls in the Bearcat and equipment for the kids to try out. Eagle Fire Department will be joining us for an amazing display of their truck and equipment. It is a wonderful time of much needed connection and community for our families.
