Heartfelt Help exists to assist heart transplant patients in Northern California with post-transplant housing expenses during their initial recovery. When insurance doesn't cover it, and patients can't afford it, HHF steps in to help. The mission of Heartfelt Help Foundation is to help financially challenged heart transplant recipients in Northern California pay medically required transplant-related expenses which are not covered by their insurance. HHF will perform this mission for the purpose of helping to ensure equal quality in and equal access to healthcare for people despite their financial limitations. HHF will accomplish its mission by helping heart recipients find and pay for post-discharge temporary recovery housing near their hospital which facilitates reliable and timely healing. HHF also will mentor heart transplant patients through the stresses of their situation to help them maximize the gift of life they received and will educate the public about organ donation and transplant.

When doctors require it insurance doesnt cover it and patients cant afford itwe make housing happen for heart transplant recipients. Heartfelt Help Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit public charity that directly helps financially challenged patients find and pay for medically required temporary recovery housing near the hospital. We also help them with other essential expenses that became unaffordable because of the transplant. Equity and Access are what were about.
