Our mission at Lucky Pup Dog Rescue is twofold, our primary focus is to rescue homeless, adoptable dogs from death row in high kill shelters in Southern California. Virtually every dog we rescue is in their eleventh hour. We transport to San Diego, provide needed vet care, spay/neuter, shots and microchip. We nurse our dogs back to health, socialize and find loving homes for them. We also support other local rescues and assist with their dogs in need by providing micro grants for vet care. Our second mission is raise awareness and educate pet lovers about the current horrific problem of pet overpopulation in the shelters around the country, Southern California specifically. We provide information, tools and opportunities for people to become involved to help solve this problem.
