The CBTA is working to create a 72-mile off-road trail in southern Maine. cascobaytrail.org/progress The mission of the Casco Bay Trail Alliance is to plan and support an off-road bicycle and pedestrian greenway loop connecting 14 municipalities between Portland, Brunswick, and Lewiston-Auburn, Maine. The Casco Bay Trail will be part of the East Coast Greenway, a 3,000-mile off-road bike and walking path from Calais, Maine to Key West, Florida.
