It's started! Early Voting has begun and JCV along with EPGC has completed their voter guide. Here at JCV we are focused not just at the state and national level but on local elections or "down ballot". These are the candidates that will impact local concerns such as government transparency, responsible controlled growth and environmental issues. Please note we sent our questionnaire to all candidates regardless of political party affiliation. Many refused to reply even after we reached out on multiple occasions. Experience has show us that those candidates that refuse to respond are ones that do NOT want to be held accountable! This year your vote for local candidates WILL make a difference! If you feel like your preferred candidate is not listed here we encourage you to review voting history (incumbents),projects, affiliations etc... what have their actions prioritized in the past? Good news from our friends in France who have been fighting off Rockwool! Not only has their building permit been denied but the Administrative Court of Appeal of Douai recognized on July 5, 2024 the impartiality of the Mayor of Courmelles and the validity of the refusal of a building permit.
