The Pinellas County Victim Rights coalition is a non-profit organization comprised of community members, victim service providers, and survivors, united in an effort to increase awareness of victim rights, to coordinate victim services in Pinellas County and to advocate on behalf of crime victims. The coalition promotes quality services to vitims and the protection of victim rights in the criminal justice system.

Each year the month of May is proclaimed Older Americans Month throughout the nation. The Administration on Aging develops a theme for Older Americans Month and disseminates the theme to the entire aging network. Each year the President signs a proclamation regarding Older Americans Month in celebration of the achievements and contributions of the nations older persons.
