Our goal is to help make every K-9 unit as safe as possible and the best they can be by offering the financial assistance to purchase items and training that may not be covered by their budgets. Items such as top quality leads, harnesses, collars, we have partnered with Modern Icon to supply top quality equipment we can at a great price. While Anderson County will always be home to our fund, after hearing of many other K-9 units in need of financial assistance we broadened our assistance to include the entire state of South Carolina and hope to grow. K-9 Units simply send a written request for assistance with equipment or classes and requests are put to a vote by the Hyco K-9 Board. If there is enough money in the fund to assist the unit they typically have their request fulfilled.
