The members of Riverland are professional musicians, many of whom are music educators. The ministry includes smaller subsets like the Riverland Combo, which can have 6 to 8 instruments, and the Cap James duo or trio.

The Cap James Music Ministry offers a diverse range of musical styles, including blues, big band, swing, Latin, Christian, and easy listening.
