Home | Stockton CCSS Chinese Cultural Society of Stockton Who We Are The Chinese Cultural Society of Stockton was initiated by a group of founding members in 1977 to fill the void of Chinese cultural activities in the San Joaquin County area. It was incorporated in the State of California as a nonprofit organization and received its tax exemption status in 1979. PURPOSE The purposes of the Society are To preserve and promote pride of Chinese culture traditions customs and arts in the Chinese Community. To promote an awareness and appreciation of Chinese culture in the community.
