Don’t miss the first Festival Orchestra concert of the season Sunday, July 13, when conductor Allan Pollack and musicians welcome pianist James D’Leon, performing Manuel de Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain. American Record Guide said D’Leon’s “performances are a revelation and a real treasure.” The concert opens with Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite, one of the ballets commissioned by Diaghilev’s legendary Ballets Russes.
