We strengthen the communities of Southern Oregon by empowering people through affordable housing and financial education. We empower our neighbors in need to pursue opportunities in housing, finance, and community. NeighborWorks Umpqua is a rural-focused housing and community development corporation committed to promoting opportunity for all. We will do this by providing quality housing, community development, property management, financial services, education, and advocacy in order to attain economic, social and environmental sustainability, and equity.

NWU staff Silvio Nieto Duran will be hosting a graduation celebration in Spanish in Grants Pass for the participants in Josephine County who recently completed the Resilience Matched Savings Program (RMSP). RMSP was funded by Business Oregon through its Economic Equity Investment Program and through Oregon Housing and Community Services' Homeownership Assistant Program (HOAP) and Language Access and Community Outreach and Engagement (LACOE) program. Each participant gained financial education and financial counseling and successfully saved $500.
