HOME AUDITION ABOUT DONATE CONCERTS CONTACT More Longwood ChorusSPREADING HARMONY IN HEALTHCARE The mission of the Longwood Chorus a70voice ensemble of Boston39shealthcare and science community isto bring together a community of healthcare and research professionals to decrease medical burnout promote emotional wellness and perform highquality choral music. Since its founding in 2017 the Longwood Chorus hasbrought together singers of various healthcare backgrounds medical graduate and public health students researchers clinical research coordinators therapists nurses residents and attending physicians from local schools and hospitals including Harvard Medical School BostonUniversity School of MedicineBoston Children39s Hospital Brigham and Women39s Hospital DanaFarber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. We stage biannual concerts along with numerous outreach performances at hospitals and community events. Upcoming Concerts and Events We are proud to participate inMass Cultural Council39s Card to Culture programin collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance the Department of Public Health39s WIC Nutrition Program the Massachusetts Health Connector and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.
