Pacoima Historical Society has joined with the Museum of the San Fernando Valley to complete phase II of the SFV's Historical Timeline. The unveiling is this Sunday, May 18, at 2 pm in front of the museum. Some of the hidden, untold stories have been included in this amazing new project. Our phase I (inception—1899) was completed last year; however, hurricane-force winds in January damaged the exhibit, so we had it redone. Phase II (1900-1950), along with the new Phase I, will be unveiled Sunday, May 18th at 2 p.m. on the Museum of the SFV grounds. There are so many stories buried or ignored that Pacoima Historical Society and The Museum of the SFV collaborated with a team of scholars, cultural experts, and community members to tell a concise yet impactful timeline of events and people. I hope folks can come and see this incredible undertaking at: The Museum of the San Fernando Valley 18904 Nordhoff Street Northridge, Ca Also on the Rancho grounds is the Pan Asian Festival (11-4), which features dancers, entertainment, and vendors.
