Christian Medical & Dental Associations

The Christian Medical & Dental Associations is a professional organization for healthcare professionals, including physicians and dentists, in the United States. It is composed of two constituent bodies: the Christian Medical Association and the Christian Dental Association.

History

Mission and Activities

The mission of CMDA is to "change hearts in healthcare" by fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. The organization supports its members and the broader community through various activities:

• Student Ministries: Sponsors campus ministries in medical, dental, and other healthcare schools.

• Fellowship and Growth: Coordinates networks for fellowship and professional growth among members.
• Educational Initiatives: Develops academic exchange programs overseas and distributes educational and inspirational materials.

Structure

CMDA is governed by a Board of Trustees and a House of Delegates, composed of graduate, student, resident, and missionary members. As of recent reports, the organization has over 13,000 members across the United States.
