The museum educates the public about the history of the DeSoto County area by preserving and interpreting historically significant photos documents and artifacts that represent the history of DeSoto county from the time of Hernando DeSoto39s exploration in 1541 to modern times. Tour Our Diverse Exhibits Have personal or group tours to see each new exhibit the museum has obtained. Learn History of Desoto County There is a vast county history that we strive to showcase in each of our exhibits.
