YWCA Bellingham | Women Shelter | Emergency Shelter | Senior Shelter

YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. The YWCA has been serving Whatcom County for over 100 years in at least 100 different ways but always with a focus on the special needs of women and girls. Through programs, services and advocacy efforts, the YWCA addresses issues of housing, basic needs, health, safety, education and equity. Current programs include the YWCA emergency and permanent housing programs, the Leadership Breakfast, the Y's Buys Thrift Boutique, and frequent forums with facilitated discussions on current issues.

What We Do YWCA Bellingham provides direct services empowerment programming and advocacy to support marginalized individuals and families especially women and girls of color while working to challenge structural barriers to equity. Housing Services YWCA Bellingham offers three different housing programs for women experiencing homelessness.
