Mission Merchants Association WELCOME TO THE MISSION The Mission Merchants Association works together to promote locallyowned neighborhood businesses. OUR NEIGHBORHOOD The Mission district is southeast of downtown San Francisco in one of the sunniest parts of the City. It is bounded by the 101 Freeway near 14th Street to the north Dolores and Potrero Streets on the west and east and Cesar Chavez Street formerly Army Street to the south. There are several major northsouth thoroughfares including the bustling stretch of commerce that is Mission Street served by the BART underground subway at 16th and 24th Streets the trendy Valencia corridor full of bistros and boutiques and the stately palmlined boulevard of Dolores Street that passes major icons including Dolores Park Mission High School and Mission Dolores.
