We are delighted to witness people thrive overcome challenges and achieve lasting success Confucius One person can make a difference but everyone should try About us Global Bridges is a California based nonprofit 501c3 organization with a purpose to create and build sustainable programs to support and enhance the lives of underrepresented communities through global network of partnerships and empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential Advocacy Advocating for social justice Global Bridges amplifies immigrant voices and champions policies protecting their rights and dignity Workforce Development Empowering underserved communities for success by providing access to indemand IT skills in cloud technology Women Empowerment Providing skills training mentorship and resources to empower women fostering selfreliance confidence and leadership opportunities Mentorship Providing group mentorship from our network of mentors who share participants cultural and linguistic backgrounds Advocacy Global Bridges advocacy endeavours are founded upon a steadfast dedication to social justice and equity aiming to magnify the voices of immigrants and refugees while advocating for policies and resources that safeguard their rights and dignity HOLISTIC APPROACH Taking a holistic approach to address immigrants and underserved communities needs focusing on education economic empowerment cultural integration and access to essential resources for longterm success Beyond Survival We have created a holistic model of thinking about and redefining the immigrant and refugee journey and how to support successful resettlement beyond the immediate needs of food and shelter. We work to expand our collaboration with other organizations that are addressing additional facets of the immigrant experience so that we can continue building a more complete picture of what it takes to foster longterm economic success Relevant Partnerships Collaborating with organizations led by individuals who have lived experiences similar to those of their program beneficiaries coupled with extensive expertise in developing culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate initiatives for hardtoreach communities Support Providing group mentorship from our network of mentors who share participants cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
