Overview
OurTism is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting autistic individuals and their families. Founded by autistic individuals for autistic individuals, it emphasizes the importance of lived experience in designing and providing its services.
Mission and Values
OurTism's mission is to empower autistic individuals to lead purposeful and harmonious lives. The organization values the expertise of individuals with firsthand experience of autism, believing that they are best placed to understand and address the community's needs. OurTism aims to provide continuous support, bridging gaps in services that often cease as individuals transition into adulthood.
