Speaking Out Collective uses storytelling and story-making to spark the curiosity and imagination of children, educators and communities. Rooted in the arts, we question, create and reimagine narratives. Rooted in the arts, we question, create and reimagine narratives. We bear witness to and enlighten the BIPOC stories that our humanity ignores, censors and suppresses. The stories that ultimately will dismantle the “isms” that plague our systems from education to the arts, financial to housing, perceptions to societal norms. We aim to reduce further harm and embrace our diverse Minnesota communities with love, respect and open dialogue to create a world filled with understanding and decreased ignorance. We believe in celebrating diversity as our strength. We aim for community and children to know and speak the truth while inspiring creativity.
