EAA Chapter 42 (Anchorage, AK) is a chapter of the national Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), and is dedicated to the promotion of homebuilt aircraft, education and recreation. Our mission is to: o) Promote, encourage, and facilitate recreational aviation activities that provide educational opportunities. o) Introduce Alaska youth to aviation. o) Have Fun! EAA is a growing and diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds. EAA was founded in 1953 by a group of individuals in Milwaukee, WI, who were interested in building their own airplanes. Through the decades, the organization expanded its mission to include antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicopters and contemporary manufactured aircraft.

EAA Chapter 42 - Home March 25th 2025 Tuesday 700 PMMarch Chapter Meeting Where CAP Polaris Squadron Merrill Field 1910 E 5th Ave President Chris has coordinated with Carl Siebe of the CAP Polaris Composite Squadron at Merrill Field for Chapter 42 to attend the Squadrons weekly meeting at the same time as our normal monthly meeting Tues 25 Mar at 700 pm. The Squadron meeting will be followed by Maj. Lance Gruner Sqn Cmdr and Caleb Newville Deputy Sqn Cmdr FAA ATCT Supervisor briefing our Chapter 42 on CAP mission activities aircraft etc. Ref httpspolaris.
