Navy Yard Garden and Art Revitalizing and Enhancing Public Open Spaces Within the Charlestown Navy Yard Upcoming Events Navy Yard The Navy Yard is a significant historical site that illustrates aspects of the naval industrial and technological history of the United States. Today the Navy Yard boasts historic resources including a section of the Freedom Trail and theUSS Constitution Museum as well as first quality open space such as Shipyard Park and Menino Park. The area is a hub for health care research and practice including development and administrative affiliates of Partners Health Care MGH Institute of Health Professions and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. The Yard offers some of the best views of the Boston skyline the citys diverse shoreline and the majestic Bunker Hill Monument.
