Since 2014 the Coalition has served as a vital connector and advocate bringing together organizations members funders and partners to address the financial barriers faced by underserved communities across Detroit. Community Development Financial Institutions CDFIs are missionbased lenders who provide affordable and flexible financing to underserved communities that mainstream lenders dont traditionally reach or fund.
