The tide is starting to turn for beagles and other animals in U.S. laboratories 🙌 🐶 The National Institutes of Health (NIH) just closed the last beagle laboratory on its campus. 🎉 We’re celebrating the one-year anniversary of the largest Animal Welfare Act fine in U.S. history. 🧫 The NIH, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency all recently announced plans to replace animal tests and experiments with sophisticated non-animal alternatives. 🏛️ We're making progress in states like Pennsylvania and Colorado to help protect dogs and other animals used in experiments.
