We monitor all proposed logging projects in Northwest Californiax27s national forests and watchdog public land managers to ensure they follow the law. We utilize legal tools to protect threatened and endangered species like the northern spotted owl from damaging human activities such as logging of suitable habitat for oldgrowth dependent species. EPIC is powered by our members not big grants or corporate sponsors.
