Catholic Charities Housing - Catholic Charities of Denver Catholic Charities Housing catholic charities Housing helping families stay together The cost of housing across Colorado is prohibitive for many neighbors. Housing at Catholic Charities provides secure supportive and affordable housing complexes for several thousand individuals and families who cannot access appropriate housing at affordable prices. We currently own and manage 1925 units of affordable housing in 34 locations throughout Colorado and Wyoming and we are developing new locations. We care for seniors families people with disabilities and individuals who have experienced homelessness.

At 79, Navy veteran Mer’Curie made a brave move to Denver—and found more than shelter at Catholic Charities Samaritan House. She found a community that listened, cared and helped her begin the healing she’s long deserved. With the support of Catholic Charities caseworkers, mental health staff and housing specialists, Mer’Curie is now moving into a home of her own for the first time in years.

This month, we celebrate 30 years of Catholic Charities serving the Western Slope. From Glenwood Springs to Eagle, our small but mighty team has walked alongside families—offering rent and utility assistance, fighting wage theft, providing bus tickets and keeping people housed and together. For three decades, we’ve stood in the gap for our neighbors in Garfield, Eagle and Pitkin counties—proving that compassion, persistence and faith can make a profound difference.
