Congratulations to Dr. Lloyd Holmes, the new President of SUNY Niagara and PTK alum! His PTK journey began when he was a community college student at Itawamba Community College. To celebrate his PTK roots, the chapter officers of the SUNY Niagara local chapter, Phi Theta Kappa: Alpha Pi Beta Chapter, presented Dr. Holmes with a custom embroidered Phi Theta Kappa jacket to commemorate his inauguration as the 8th President of Suny Niagara. “College isn’t about just the activities that take place in the classroom,” Dr. Holmes shared, reflecting on his time as a PTK member. “College is about developing the ‘whole’ student: intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
