Inspiring kids to love the mountains and the sport of skiing and boarding The Billy Poole Foundation is a non-profit formed in 2008 to support programs that provide opportunities for kids to learn to ski in honor of the ski legacy of Montana’s Billy Poole. Each year a group of professional skiers travel to Montana to ski with kids who are new to skiing to inspire them for the love of the sport of skiing. This event “Ski with the Pros” happens each year at Discovery Basin Ski Resort.
