Home About Contact Us Resources Events More Background In 2019 the East Oakland Recovery Center which had served as a home for alcoholics addicts and those that love and support them for decades closed its doors. With no other recovery centers in the area the 12 Step meetings dispersed to various locations throughout the East Bay. Vincent Garrett had previously attempted to organize and establish a recovery clubhouse in 2009 because there were talks about the EORC closing a decade earlier but the effort was unsuccessful.
