KIDD Stands for Kids Initiative to Defeat Diabetes Sadly 1 of every 3 children is at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes in their lifetime. The future cost of that statistic in healthcare and lives lost is unacceptable especially when Type 2 diabetes may be prevented as much as 95 of the time with appropriate information and education.
