I use watercolors to convey my unique perspective, influenced deeply by my cultural heritage, nature, world travels, literature, and an overarching obsession with color. My recent feminine figurative watercolors are defined by a celebration of womanhood using luminous color while blending the surreal and magical with realism. About the Piece: "Forever In Bloom" is dedicated as a remembrance of those beloved souls that are no longer with us. I painted with the hopeful idea that through nature we can keep the memories alive, whether it is through the evocative scent of a blooming rose, or the whir of bejeweled hummingbird wings.
