Jazz Vivace promotes Cincinnati jazz by programming world-class artists alongside talented local musicians in venues that enhance the listening experience. Jazz Vivace is a nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting performances by internationally recognized jazz artists for Cincinnati area residents. We work to foreground Cincinnati as a bastion of jazz performance on the international stage—as a city that attracts international jazz acts, produces internationally recognized artists, and as home to artists who play at an international level. As America’s classical music, jazz should be presented as a cultural heritage alongside other forms of the performing arts in Cincinnati. Jazz performances need support from public, private, and corporate donors in order to thrive in our community. Jazz Vivace will provide support for jazz performances of superior artistry.
