The Marshall-Harrison County Literacy Council provides free, individualized instruction to residents of Harrison County to address the problem of adult illiteracy in a safe and confidential environment.Trained instructors and volunteer tutors serve students with low literacy and/or limited English language skills.Instructional services of Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English as a Second Language (ESL) stresses practices and skills in order to strengthen students' ability to function more effectively in everyday life.
