A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION BY AND FOR DESCENDANTS, DIRECT AND CLOSE BLOOD LINEAGE TO THOSE WHO DIED IN THE MOUNTAIN MEADOWS MASSACRE OF 1857, THAT WORKS TO IDENTIFY, REMEMBER, HONOR AND PRESERVE THE MEMORY OF THOSE KILLED IN THE MOUNTAIN MEADOWS MASSACRE. IT IS A GOAL OF THIS ORGANIZATION TO FIND PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE GRAVESITES OF THOSE WHO DIED AND HEIGHTEN PUBLIC AWARENESS OF ACCURATE, HISTORICAL ACCOUNTS OF THIS EVENT.

There were 120 men women and children traveling in the wealthy wagon train headed to California were killed atMountain Meadows. Only 17 children were allowed to live all under the age of 7. The Mountain Meadows Massacre Descendants organization came about after months of discussion and prayer with a simple yet unique purpose.
