Wondering if your symptoms could be vestibular migraine? Check out the diagnostic criteria below: ✔️ You’ve had at least 5 episodes of vestibular symptoms (dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, etc.) that were moderate to severe intensity and lasted 5 minutes to 72 hours. ✔️ You currently have migraine or have a history of it (with or without aura). ✔️ During at least half of those dizzy episodes, you also had one or more of the following: → A headache with at least two of the following characteristics: one-sided, pulsing, moderate-severe intensity, worsens with activity → Light and sound sensitivity → Visual aura (like flashing lights, zigzag lines, or distortions) ✔️ And lastly, your symptoms aren’t better explained by another diagnosis like BPPV, Ménière’s disease, or a different migraine type.
