Join us June 14th 4:00-8:00 p.m. for Ribs and Ragtime, our annual jazzy garden party on the beautiful grounds of the Amherstburg Freedom Museum, complete with live music, dancing, mingling, delicious barbeque, and a silent auction. This year’s entertainment will be provided by Black Orchid. As always, the event is inspired by the Amherstburg-born pioneer of ragtime, Shelton Brooks... musician, composer, actor, comedian, star of Vaudeville and Broadway, radio host. Inside the museum, explore a small exhibit in his honour and sample some of his work that took the world by storm in his heyday.
