On May 21st, 2025 -- History rode the rails: We proudly joined community members, elders, and city leaders in unveiling the updated Seattle Streetcar—now bearing the name Filipinotown—in the heart of the International District. This powerful moment honors over a century of Filipino American presence, resilience, and contributions to Seattle. From the stories of manongs and laborers to cultural bearers and modern-day advocates, it is a moment to celebrate our rich history. 💛 Special thanks to the many community leaders who fought to make this possible.
