Meet Chevy he still needs to grow into his ears. We saved him from the Irving Texas Kill shelter. He was hit by a car and suffered a fractured leg and was brought into the shelter. One of our fosters stepped up and has been caring for him. This is our second puppy rescued from a kill shelter with fractured leg. Its actually cheaper to do an amputation but we could not do that when we know the pups would heal and be normal functioning puppies. So money is a little tight for us. There are cast and wound care weekly vet appointments and every two weeks cast changes and x-rays until the doctor releases them from strict kennel rest. #pleaseconsiderdonating #puppiesjustwanttohavefun (fb)
