They promote continued advancement of investigation in the field of narcotics enforcement and the advancement of professionals working in the field. After 50 years ONEA has become a model of law enforcement associations and has expanded its objectives to include Promotion and support of private local and state programs that target atrisk youth Direct membership and active involvement with the National Narcotic Officer39s Associations39 Coalition ONEA Four Primary Objectives 01 Professional Status To further the advancement of narcotics law enforcement to a higher professional status 03 Fraternalism Fraternalism among our fellow officers with unity expressed implied and practiced by each member 02 Supervision The continued advancement in the techniques of supervision and investigation in the field of narcotics enforcement 04 Promotion Promotion of mutual cooperation in all area of narcotic and dangerous drug control Funding Funding for the main conference each year as well as the many regional and specialized training sessions held throughout the state is obtained through membership dues conference registration fees and donations made by you the citizens we serve. In addition to training some funds received by ONEA are distributed as charitable donations to other organizations for drug endangered children throughout Oregon.
