MISSION: BCAA acts as a catalyst to incubate, stimulate and sustain a thriving arts community in Boulder County.To achieve this mission, BCAA: Ignites the interest in arts by promoting diverse art opportunities and supporting all performing, visual and emerging arts disciplines Nurtures the arts by coordinating collaboration among and between the art disciplines and offering continuing professional development to improve business competencies Fosters a culture of experimentation and innovation in all art forms. Grows the financial capacities of our organizations and expands their financial connections and opportunities for earned income Develops BCAA's capacities and strategies to respond to tomorrow's challenges

Welcome | Boulder County Arts Alliance Workshops Panels and Events Please read this important notice from the Create Boulder Board of Directors The City of Boulder has launched a publicquestionnaireto guide the Arts Blueprint a 10year cultural plan. This plan will shape the funding and priorities of the Office of Arts Culture and how revenues from the Arts Culture and Heritage Tax will be allocated. In 2023 Ballot Measure 2A which dedicated half the tax revenues to arts and culture was supported by 75 of Boulder voters. We ask that you share thisquestionnairewith your networks tovoice support for using 100 of 2As Arts Culture Heritage Tax funds to directly benefit artists cultural organizations and the community.

“EXPEDITIONS AND EXHIBITIONS: ARTIST AS RESEARCHER” Join us at Patagonia on Pearl Street for a presentation by three artists whose creative work reflects contemporary research in ecological science: Amy Hoagland, Alexandra Lockhart, and Madison Sankovitz. Amy, Alexandra, and Madison participated in the Arctic Circle Residency. During this residency, these three artists traveled by boat around the Arctic, collecting samples and creative inspiration.
