The Committee for the Night Watch shall foster through its living history programs an awareness and understanding of the 18th Century British Period (1763-1784) of St.Augustine in the Colony of East Florida. Our focus pertains to the history, settlement, and development of the British in St. Augustine by portraying the history of the convergence of American Indian, Spanish, European and African cultures and the enduring local heritage that changed world history and bequeathed a nation.
