Building relationships, taking action and winning POWER improves the quality of life for low-income people and communities through community organizing. We use direct action, relationship building and leadership development to create and preserve affordable housing, ensuring quality public services and jobs, defending the rights of immigrants and workers, and ensuring clean air, water and soil for everyone. We are a multi-issue, broad-based community organizing group that works on the issues identified by low-income grassroots leaders as the most important issues. We build power for our leaders through strategic organizing, campaign development, and working towards a long-term strategy to win an economy and political system that puts People & Planet First.
