CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND ALL CATHOLIC CHARITIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ARE COMMITTED TO HELP END POVERTY IN AMERICA BY ADDRESSING AND RESPONDING TO THE CORE ISSUES OF POVERTY, AND IN A MORE DIRECT WAY, OFFERING SERVICES TO HELP FAMILIES ACHIEVE SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE. CCRGV ANTICIPATES ENHANCING THE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, PLACING A STRONGER EMPHASIS ON STABILIZATION AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY FOR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE.
