Meet two more of the Brigadoon actors from our talented Ensemble. Today we feature a couple of SBMT newcomers. Braden Koch (Stuart Dalrymple) A Bay Area native and graduate of Chapman University, Braden is thrilled to make his SBMT debut after six years away from the stage! Most recently, he played The Pirate King in “The Pirates of Penzance” (PYT), with other favorite credits including “Peter and the Starcatcher” (Black Stache), “Seussical” (Horton), and “Into the Woods” (Mysterious Man). He also holds multiple stage management and acting credits with PYT’s Stories on Stage program. Braden thanks his friends and family for encouraging his return to the stage and for their continued support. Michael Yu (Angus MacGuffie) is excited to perform in his first musical ever! He is grateful to SBMT for granting him this opportunity to take the stage. A classically trained vocalist, Michael often performs at church celebrations, weddings, and recitals. With no prior dancing or acting experience, he is eager to grow and develop these new skills for his role in “Brigadoon!” Michael would like to thank his loving wife, Abigail Yu, and his voice instructor, Jonathan Nadel, for their continuous support and encouragement. Brigadoon closes this week with a trio of performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 5, 6, and 7—all at the Saratoga Civic Theater, 13777 Fruitvale Ave, Saratoga, CA.
