National Policy Board for Educational Administration NPBEAs Strategic Goals Our mission is to develop advance and promote researchinformed educational leadership standards policies preparation and practices that empower educational leaders in preparation programs schools and districts. Promote Awareness and Understanding of Leadership Standards To promote and advance awareness understanding and clarity of all educational leadership standards including the Professional Standards for Educational Leadership PSEL the National Educational Leadership Preparation NELP Standards and the Model Standards for Principal Supervisors. Strengthen Advocacy and Collaboration To harness the resources and networks of member organizations to identify opportunities for collective advocacy foster collaboration and support member organizations and NPBEAs initiatives. Ensure Relevance and Responsiveness of Leadership Standards To ensure the continuing relevance and adaptability of educational leadership standardsincluding PSEL NELP and the Model Standards for Principal Supervisorsin response to evolving leadership contexts and educational needs.
