Alicia’s Closet (Alicia's Closet Ohio) is a nonprofit organization serving children & families impacted by foster care through a free store, support groups, monthly/seasonal events and more! Alicia's Closet is a nonprofit organization serving the foster care community in Columbus, Ohio (with an additional location in Fremont, Ohio.) We operate a clothing closet/free store, offer support groups, various events, seasonal programming and other resources. We are happy to serve foster, kinship & reunified families (children were previously in foster care), as well as former foster youth. We are proponents of family preservation, and family restoration, whenever possible. We believe that building relationships and supporting the entire family are integral to the heart of foster care. We also believe that love is a verb - Alicia's Closet exists to support the foster care community through action, both children and their families & caregivers.
