RECOVER Foster Care Dogs Matter offers a safe and healthy environment for our clients dogs while they are seeking inpatient treatment and if necessary until they are healthy and stable enough to take care of their dog again. The choice to hand over a dog even if temporary is often the single biggest objection a dog owner has who is facing an extended inpatient treatment program for alcohol or substance use disorder. Over 90 of pet owners consider their pet part of the family.
