When Elijah lost his truck and everything he owned in the middle of winter, he had no shoes, just a t-shirt and one pair of shorts. He was standing outside a Walmart with his 4 lb dog Ruby when our Recovery Coach Trish stepped in. She brought him to safety, and he was admitted to the hospital. From there, Elijah entered the Pawsitive Recovery Program and moved into sober living with Ruby by his side. Elijah has now been sober since February 6, 2026 and for the past 90 days, he and Ruby have made incredible progress. Starting over from nothing is hard.
